Is Vaping Safe?

Well straight off the bat, let’s hear from Martin Dockrell, Tobacco Control Programme Lead at Public Health England, who says:  “For almost all e-cigarette users the alternative is smoking, and it’s really important that they understand how much safer e-cigarettes are, compared to smoking”.

So, vaping stops people from smoking and thus inhaling carcinogens and tar.

But the question still remains: is vaping safe? Will vaping harm my health? Will vaping damage my lungs?

All valid questions.

Questions that go through everyone’s minds because, while it’s obviously a lesser evil than smoking… is it still an evil?

At AYR we want to put your minds at ease that our e-cig, charging case system and liquids are of the highest quality. They have been health-tested, stress-tested and manipulated to the highest degree to be the very best in class.

Okay, but are they harmful?

Good question. Let’s start off by pointing out e-cigarette vapour isn’t smoke. There is no current evidence that inhaling a mixture of propylene glycol and glycerine causes any kind of long-term damage (those are our two main ingredients by the way).

Now, the PHE estimates they are 95% less harmful than regular cigarettes. But what about that 5%? Many vape liquids don’t publicly account for this discrepancy. But we do. Our bespoke liquids have been approved for use in e-cigs by the world’s leading toxicologists, allowing us to offer the ‘gold standard’ in quality. Read all about our multi-stage tox-risk assessment process by board-certified toxicologists here.

Can vaping cause popcorn lung?

Vaping could. Vaping with AYR won’t. No.

Here’s why: popcorn lung is an inflammation that obstructs the smallest airways in the lung. It’s known to be caused by diacetyl and acetyl propionyl. These two chemicals are in the flavouring of some vape liquids, and often the ingredients on your bottle will not show the specific chemicals in the flavourings. While popcorn lung is a frightening condition, there has never been a diagnosed case in a vaper.

So AYR has been quality assured?

Oh yes. To the Nth degree. AYR does not and never will contain diacetyl and acetyl propionyl. That’s why our liquid capsules are exclusively designed for our product alone and are tamper-proof. We want to ensure that you are using something of the highest quality, that has been approved by all regulators.

All that’s left is to relax and enjoy.
